Tristen had a Band Solo Contest on Saturday morning. We were able to go in and listen to him play. He did very well. Here is a cute picture of him warming up in the band hall before he performed.

My new badge clip! My other blingy badge clip broke and I've been using a boring one. I finally went and bought a new one from my co-worker who sells them!

I love coming home to find brown boxes on my front porch, especially when the box contains shoes!!!

Here is a random assortment of pictures that have been on my camera. Most of these are from our pseudo nephew's 1st b-day party.

Colby had a game yesterday, and I had planned on taking more pictures. The game was called during the 2nd inning due to lightening, so the game will be made up. We were up 2-0 when the game got called.
Btw, I HATE their white uniforms! Who the hell thinks it is a good idea to have white uniforms when playing baseball on red dirt? Oh I know.....a male....who probably has never tried to get a pair of white baseball pants clean and back to a somewhat shade of white. (You can't bleach them!!!!)

Well, I don't really have any updates. Nothing really new is going on with me. One exciting thing I guess, is I finally hired myself a housekeeper. She comes for the first time in 2 weeks and I couldn't be more excited. If I like her work, I only plan on having her come once a month. Colby's baseball picks up on the weekends starting at the end of May and he has tournaments 7 weekends in a row!!! My normal cleaning routine that I do on the weekends won't exactly be a routine anymore once the tournaments start.
Jason is nearing the end of his semester and will soon after that be a certified EMT-B. He is testing for Denton Fire this Saturday. He plans on starting Paramedic classes in August and possibly doing an online certification for fire, as well. We'll see. He plans on starting softball back up in the next few weeks, too. Busy busy! I'll just be excited when his night classes are over. I know I miss having him at home at night and so do the boys.
I'll try to post some recent pictures soon!!!!
